ARCA VINI
The ARCA VINI is a restaurant dedicated to wine tasting. The concept was created for a building that is located between grapevines in northern Italy, South Tyrol. The building fits into the slope and defines three floors.The restaurant has four areas of use that are distinguished by their different design concepts. A consistent meta-design ensures a consistent overall picture. The design is inspired by space in space principle. The adjusted boxes serve as zoning elements and structure the building volume. The closed volumes in the form of boxes create intimacy in the large and open outdoor space. The cubes result from a wine rack created in a grid, whereby the outdoor area serves as a sales and presentation space. The route is via bridges and stairs made of concrete. The same materiality makes the paths an integral part of the building.
